Hefei completes national pedigree for zoo red-crowned cranes

Hefei Wildlife Park recently completed the establishment of a national pedigree for all zoo red-crowned cranes.

Expected to help prevent inbreeding and genetic diseases, the pedigree serves as an important reference for breeding work of all zoo red-crowned cranes in China. Hefei Wildlife Park will continue updating and improving the pedigree in order to further guarantee healthy reproduction among the precious species.
