Xinqiao holds first culture and arts festival

The first Xinqiao Yangguangbandao Culture and Arts Festival held its opening ceremony on Feb 15 in Xinqiao International Industrial Park in Shouxian county, Anhui province. Municipal and county officials attended the ceremony.

The Xinqiao cultural tourism project is being financed and constructed by Anhui Yangguangbandao Culture Development Co. As one of the 10-billion-yuan ($1.6 billion) projects of Xinqiao International Industrial Park, it is listed as a key provincial project. It is also a key investment project in Shouxian county.

The culture and arts festival highlights folk culture and art performances as well as tourism promotion. It brought Anhui opera performances, folk supplies, local snacks, and handicraft products to locals. Thanks to Spring Festival, the event has enhanced the name recognition and reputation of the park and the county.
