Warring States era tombs excavated in Anhui province

The photo, taken on April 19, 2011, shows the scene where a 2-ton coffin will be lifted out of a tomb dating from the Warring States period (475 BCE to 221 BCE) in Lu'an, Anhui province. Archeologists have found more than 200 pieces of precious relics, including leather armor, a bronze mirror, a bronze sword and a wooden human figure with pottery head, in the two tombs of the Warring States period in Lu'an since the excavation started on April 19.
