The Huangshan Mountain Scenery Photo Show opened at Shaw Parade Square, Malaysia, on Sept 26. It is the first time for the Huangshan Mountain scenic spot to hold a photo show abroad.

The exhibition will last to the end of September.

The show exhibits more than 70 pictures shot by three local photographers in Huangshan Mountain, Chen Fengqing, Deng Genbao and Wang Genhua, highlighting the "five marvels” of the mountain—the uniquely shaped pines, oddly-shaped rocks, seas of clouds, winter snow and hot springs, and the beautiful sceneries of the four seasons of Huangshan Mountain.

The exhibition attracts a large number of photography lovers and citizens in Malaysia.

Liang Jiefeng, vice-chairman of the Photographic Society of Malaysia, said that the grand scenes are out of this world, and the photo show provides a good chance for Malaysians to get to know China and Huangshan Mountain a little better.

Huangshan Mountain sponsors the show, on the invitation of the Photographic Society of Malaysia and Malaysia’s Jalan-Jalan Travel Magazine. Guests from the Photographic Society of Malaysia, Photographic Society of Negeri Sembilan and scores of newspapers, including Nanyang Daily and Sin Chew Daily, attended the opening ceremony. Hu Hang, president of the Photographic Society of Malaysia, and Chen Fengqing, vice-chairman of the Photographers Association of Huangshan Mountain, attended and addressed the ceremony.

Huangshan Mountain scenic spot has held a series of activities relevant to photography, including consecutive photography contests and the on-going 2010 China Huangshan Mountain International Photography Festival. The outstanding photos of the festival have presented the beautiful scenery of Huangshan Mountain to people both at home and abroad, and have attracted significant capital into the mountain’s tourism market.
