In order to promote the rapid development of Anhui's tourism, further exploit the advantages of the local planning team, and to provide strategic guidance for tourist destination development, the Anhui Tourism Bureau and the Anhui Industrial and Commercial Bureau have approved the establishment of an Anhui Tourism Planning & Research Institute, which has already finished registration.

Anhui province boasts rich tourism resources and a huge potential market. The institute will find answers to the great needs which have surfaced in recent years for more scientific strategic guidance.

Anhui Tourism Group, founder of the institute, has been on the list of China's top 20 tourism enterprises for years. The institute currently employs over 60 professionals specializing in tourism planning, city planning, landscaping, ecological conservation, regional economies, history and culture, and architecture. With the strong professional team and facilities, the institute will provide services like tourism planning, tourism regional planning, and consultation.

The institute aims to provide "excellent ideas, exquisite designs, and exact implementation". It offers a full set of services from the overall design to detailed implementation. As the first professional provincial tourism planning organization, the institute has already earned itself a great reputation with its excellent works for the Xidi village scenic area in Huangshan city, the Peony Garden of the Yinping Mountain, Chaohu city, and the Peach Blossom Pool of Jing county.
