Highway charges halted on Tomb-sweeping Day

Highways in Anhui province will open for free for cars of seven seats and under during the three-day Tomb-sweeping holiday, which starts on April 5, the Department of Anhui Transport has announced..

The toll-free policy starts from one minute past midnight on April 5 and lasts until midnight on April 7, and includes provincial highways, toll roads and the Yangtze River Bridge. The travel peak is expected to begin on the morning of April 5, said a deputy from the Anhui Highway Police Joint Command Center.
