Updated: 2013-12-17

On December 8, Wuhu Fangte Dream Kingdom in Anhui province celebrated its third anniversary. Director of the Wuhu municipal tourism administration, Hu Yongjun; general manager of Wuhu Huaqiang Culture and Scientific Technology Industry Co, Chen Zuyao; and standing vice-manager of Wuhu Fangte Dream Kingdom, Li Qiancheng, attended the celebration ceremony.

At 9:30am at the entrance plaza of the park, a lively LED water drum show kicked off the ceremony. Dream fans from all over the country, and hundreds of media reporters from inside and outside the province, attended the event.

The most eye-catching activity was the Tourist Lucky Draw. Tourists wrote down their greetings to Wuhu Fangte Dream Kingdom on an electronic signature screen beforehand. When the celebration reached its climax, 10 lucky tourists were picked up by Wu Qun and Chen Zuyao through the electronic rolling screen. Winners received a limited edition experience card for Wuhu Fangte Water World Attraction, which will open in June next year. At the end of the ceremony, guests jointly poured wine into an ice engraving.

Wuhu Fangte launched a series of activities for the third anniversary. Tourists who bought full-price tickets from December 7 to 8 can get a free evening ticket to Wuhu Fangte Dream Kingdom on December 24. In addition, during the ceremony, Wuhu Fangte simultaneously held a series of activities called “Boonie Bears: To the Rescue!” After enjoying the celebration, some visitors went into the park and watched a live-action stage play named Boonie Bears. Others joined the Heart Seizing Guards game with their families.

On December 7, deputy director-general of the Wuhu tourism bureau, Liu Hongzhu, gave a speech at a press release for the third anniversary of Dream Kingdom. He pointed out that Wuhu Fangte is indispensable to “happy city” construction in Wuhu. He hoped that Fangte could present more and better tourism products, and make greater contributions to Wuhu.

Xie Wei, deputy marketing director of Wuhu Huaqiang Culture and Scientific Technology Industry Co, promoted and introduced Fangte’s program. According to his introduction, Fangte Dream Kingdom will stay open on the evening of December 24. The park will launch a dreamy Christmas event themed around fantasy and snow. A New Year's celebration cartoon called Boonie Bears: To the Rescue! will hit the big screen next year in Fangte.

Fangte Dream Kingdom, the second theme park belonging to Wuhu Fangte, opened on Dec 8, 2010. To date, it has received over 4.53 million tourists. On July 5, 2013, the first night show in the park achieved great success and was highly praised by visitors. Colorful and dazzling programs wowed visitors at the park. With the cultural tourism industry growing, Wuhu Fangte continues to work to become a leader in the field.
