China Huangshan International Mountain-Climbing Competition kicks off

The 9th China Huangshan International Mountain-Climbing Competition kicked off at the South Gate of Huangshan scenic spot in the city of Huangshan, Anhui province on November 18. By Pan Cheng

The 9th China Huangshan International Mountain-Climbing Competition kicked off at the South Gate of Huangshan scenic spot in the city of Huangshan, Anhui province on November 18.

The event is a part of the four-day 17th China Huangshan International Tourism Festival. It attracted over 3,000 mountain-climbing enthusiasts from 12 provinces in China and 56 countries, including Russia, the United States, Germany, Australia, South Korea and India.

The route of the competition is South Gate - White Goose Ridge - Cloud Valley Temple - North Sea Square. It measures 12 kilometers in total.
