Five spots in ancient Huiland to apply together to become 5A scenic area
Updated: 2013-10-28

Three scenic spots in Huizhou district, the ancient town and the archway complex in Shexian county of Huangshan city are bundling together to apply to become a national 5A scenic area named the Ancient Huiland Cultural Tourism Zone. Ticket combinations have also been launched accordingly.

The decision to bundle the application is based on the difficulty for spots with similar features to apply to become 5A scenic areas at the same time. The name for the combined scenic area has been settled. The Ancient Huiland Cultural Tourism Zone will have a management committee formed by the government of Huangshan city. Tourists to these spots can now buy ticket combinations in any one of the five spots at a relatively lower price.

On October 15, the Ancient Huiland Cultural Tourism Zone's landscape value was given 95 points by specialists, which means the area has fulfilled its first task in building the 5A scenic area. The whole process must be completed by the end of November.
