Flights to launch from Anqing to Wuhan
Updated: 2013-10-22

Starting on October 27, airports in East China's Anhui province will follow a winter-spring flight schedule. Meanwhile, China Eastern Airlines (CEA) will launch flights between the province's Anqing and Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province.

According to the new schedule, flights will be operated from the provincial capital Hefei to Hong Kong three times a week.

To facilitate travel on cold winter days, the winter-spring timetable will put off all the morning flights departing from Hefei Xinqiao Airport. MU5468 (Hefei-Shanghai), MU5287 (Hefei-Guangzhou) and MU5476 (Hefei-Kunming), for example, are due to leave the capital city at 8:30am, 8:25am and 8:10am, later than their respective departure time for summer and fall: 7:50am, 8:00am and 7:50am.

Meanwhile, Anqing in the southwest of the province will see CEA flights to Hubei province's capital Wuhan.

In addition, the CEA plans to launch air routes from Hefei to Sanya, Taiyuan, Xishuangbanna and Fuzhou cities.
